Parenting with Cancer: A Family-Friendly Event

Young and Strong in partnership with the Young Adult Program invite you to an in-person workshop on navigating parenthood and cancer.

Join us for a supportive session led by Dana-Farber social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. We'll explore helpful strategies for communicating with your children about your cancer journey, managing the dynamics at home during and after treatment, and most importantly, taking care of yourself. You'll also have the valuable opportunity to connect with other young parents and guardians who share similar experiences.

We encourage you to bring along your children aged 6 and older to this event!
Kesem, an organization dedicated to supporting children through a parent's cancer diagnosis, will offer fun, age-appropriate activities (unrelated to cancer) during the adult sessions.
