Each year, Young and Strong hosts many in-person and virtual events that provide educational and social opportunities for young adults with breast cancer. Check out our upcoming events below:

Lunchtime Social

This event is intended for those who have completed active treatment for stage 0 to stage IIIc breast cancer within the last five years.

Wednesday, March 22
12:15 - 1 p.m. ET

During this event, you will have the opportunity to discuss what's on your mind, ask any questions you have about our program or the resources available to you, and engage/socialize with your peers.
Register
After you register, a Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the event.

EMBRACing Young and Strong Social

These virtual hangouts are a great opportunity to connect with other young adults living with stage IV, metastatic breast cancer (MBC).

Sharon Bober, PhD, who leads Dana-Farber's Sexual Health Program, will join this informal event to discuss sexual health. This will be a conversation, not a presentation. It is recommended that you come with questions and watch this video beforehand (which reviews the basics of sexual health and cancer).

Thursday, March 23
6:30 - 7:45 p.m. ET
Register
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information with a unique link, just for you, to join the event — be sure to add this to your calendar!

Virtual Support Group

Facilitated by social worker Megan DelSesto, MSW, LICSW, this six-week group, beginning on April 20, will meet via Zoom to give young patients and survivors an opportunity to discuss relevant topics.

This group is best suited to women who were diagnosed with early-stage (0-III) breast cancer before age 45 and are within 12 months of the diagnosis.

Please note that this is not a drop-in group. A commitment to joining all six sessions is strongly encouraged.

Thursdays, 7 - 8 p.m. ET

If you're interested in registering for the Spring series, please email youngandstrong@partners.org.

More information about these programs are announced in Young and Strong’s monthly
e-newsletters. If you would like to be added to the distribution list, please email
youngandstrong@partners.org or fill out the form to sign up.
