Eleanor and Maxwell Blum Patient and Family Resource Center
Located on the first floor of the Yawkey Center on our Longwood Campus. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency, resources, workshops, and programs are now offered online to support patients and their loved ones. The Blum Resource Center serves as a comfortable environment for patients and family members to learn more about disease treatment and management. The helpful faces of volunteers and staff are available to help you find answers to health-related questions and can guide you through the variety of Dana-Farber’s programs and services available to you. Be sure to stop by and ask for complimentary Hope Bags (for patients) or Care Bags (for caregivers). |
In the Blum Resource Center, you can access computers, copy and fax machines, charging stations, videos, CDs, a private consult room, and a lending library. Volunteers and staff are always happy to lend a hand in using any of these resources and technologies.

Please note that many of the brochures and pamphlets available in the Blum Center and online in the Digital Resource Center are translated to Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Romanian, and Greek. Other useful resources include: In addition to these resources, the Blum Resource Center hosts ongoing support groups, seminars, and lectures. The Blum Resource Center is also home to the Open Art Studio, which is a free to all studio space for arts and crafts that hosts themed workshops to learn and de-stress. Patients and family members are welcome to stop by the studio to relax and utilize the materials when designated workshops are not in session.
